Well, I managed to write over 50,000 words in just shy of the thirty days I had allotted to me for National Novel Writing Month. Yippee! :)
I am glad to have this under my belt, and I have realized many things during these past few days, including:
1. I can write, a lot, if I really focus.
2. I can write and still live my life (meaning, I can be a wife and homeschooling mom and have a fairly clean house, while being a writer).
3. I know that I'm supposed to write, that it is a gift that God has blessed me with, and that when I don't write, I am not using my gift . Not using gifts that God gives us isn't good, and I intend, with God's help, to go forward and write more!
And now, I'm going to get to bed at a decent hour tonight, knowing that I don't have to get up at 4:00 a.m. tomorrow to write!
