Beauty for Ashes

This is an amazing story, written by our amazing God, before time began. The amazing part is how God takes something that seems so bad and uses it for such good.

Maybe there's a "something bad" in your life right now, and you aren't even sure you want to give God the chance to turn it into something good.

If so, I understand; I've been there. Several years ago I was in a pit so deep that I wanted to die. But, all praise and glory go to the God of the impossible.

He alone is able to bring something dead back to life, and that is what he did for me. I am a living testimony of the incredible sweetness that you will experience if you push through this tough time and stand firm in Christ.

"...to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair...," (Isaiah 61:3).

He is with you, even if you don't feel Him. You may not know this, but feelings are often liars. When you are drowning in despair and feel completely lost, that's your clue that lies are running the show.

Because God only tells the truth. He tells you that you have hope. You are not alone. And He will make good out of your bad, if you will let Him.

So, will you let Him?
