My beautiful Sara

Chair I bought with birthday money from my mom

Destruct-o Deer strike again...wrecked the electric fence. (grumble, grumble...)

Cute garden raider

"Everybody wants to be a cat..." (Sara is singing that song, from The Aristocats, at our homeschool co-op's talent show this December).

And here are my new LG washer and dryer set. Who knew laundry could be so much fun? They are fabulous (email me privately, if you want details), and no more annoying beeps—they sing to you when they are done! A wonderful birthday present from my husband, even if they are utilitarian. :)

  1. I love that my washer dryer sings to me as well...it definitely does sound a lot nicer than an annoying buzzer! :) Great pictures!!! I love the one of Sara as a cat! :)

    1. I love how quickly they do clothes, too. I have plowed through so much laundry this week!

  2. Love your birthday present! Happy Birthday too! I think I would've gone for the red color. It's my fave.

And that's crazy that a deer could wreck an electric fence. Must be a super deer or something. ;)

  3. Hi Janice,

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I went back and forth between the gray and red (my fave color), but I chose gray because they are visible from the kitchen and the appliances there are stainless.

I think the fence was grounded out. I can't imagine they would be that determined, were it working--but you never know!

    Thanks for visiting!

  4. Hi Selena! Cool looking washer and dryer! I do not have front loaders, so this looks 'space age' to me. Sorry about your fence? How do they manage to crash through that? Those are some strong deer!

Happy Birthday! My birthday was this month too, but I didn't get space-age appliances. Hmmm...I have to go talk to my husband :)
    Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Ceil! Happy Birthday to you, too! My birthday was actually last month, but the units were back-ordered. They weren't due in until October, so I was surprised anyway! :)

The deer here are crazy, so I am very thankful for any homegrown food I get to eat.

You have a wonderful weekend, too!

    1. Thanks, Kath. I would love to have you over to hear them some time!

Yes, Sara wants to wear face paint, and she has cat ears and a tail to wear, too. She's excited.

The bunny was so cute. Was terrified, but it put its ears up when we rubbed its head. The kids wanted to keep it. That would have worked out well. ha.
