"Sometimes seeing is believing, and sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see."
Here we are watching Polar Express on Christmas Eve, as we have done for the past three or four years.
Our Christmas Eve tradition is to eat coconut shrimp, watch Polar Express, and then, after the Campbell kids are in bed, the presents are wrapped and put under the tree. (I've got a head start tonight, since the presents are already wrapped.) We also have a train that we set up under the tree, which is affectionately called "North Express," Iain's name for the train when he was two.
After we finish the movie it will be time for bed, and hopefully we'll all get more than five hours of sleep tonight. :)
Just like that wonderful line from the movie, the most real things in the world are the things that we can't see. And the absolutely most real thing is Jesus, the best gift we've ever received. May you all take a moment, in the excitement of tomorrow morning, to remember that Christmas is all about Him.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
