Dad went to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 31st. I am SO thankful for the peace that I have in knowing Daddy is with the Lord. Still, I miss him terribly. Seems like a dream, his being gone. I know that time will ease this pain; yet that seems wrong, like time should slow down in honor of my dad. I can't believe it has been over two weeks since he died--it feels like yesterday. Soon it will be a whole year, and then more years.
I'm glad this life is only a blink of an eye compared to eternity. How great is that to look forward to?
