Sòlas Place

Our new home is tentatively going to be called "Sòlas Place," with Sòlas being a gaelic word meaning: joy, comfort, solace. That certainly sums it up for us. This new place is an amazing gift from God. I will post the entire story soon, so everyone can "hear" the testimony of how God has been faithful to restore and bless us.

Our second morning of "camping out" in the family room of our new home, we were greeted with a family of deer in our side yard. (Didn't have my camera with me, unfortunately.) There were four of them, a mother, a yearling, and two small twins (still had their spots). They were all running around--the twins were chasing each other and playing, like puppies, and the mother seemed to be trying to run off the yearling(maybe weaning it?). I have never seen anything like that before. It was like a PBS documentary. :)

  1. This sounds like a great place! Who would believe you were downtown.
