Happy Father's Day!

This Father's Day, Glen had to work 9-6. We missed him, so we decided to surprise Daddy when he left work today.

Waiting in Walmart's parking lot for Daddy to get off from work.

By the look on his face, I think we were successful in surprising him!

Glen and I both like Greek food, so I made Greek chicken, which was amazingly delicious, tabouli salad (from a box), and served it with cucumber and tomato slices. It was a yummy dinner.

Glen is a wonderful husband and father who works long hours at Walmart, which enables me to stay home and homeschool our precious Campbell kids. I am so thankful that he is a hard working man. When we pay off our home in 2013 (Lord willing), work will be less stressful for Glen. In the meantime, we are determined to find ways to make him feel special and honored for all that he does for us.

We love you, sweetheart! :) xoxo

It's hard to believe that it was two years (May 31st) since Grandpa Shriver went home to be with Jesus. Here he is holding baby Iain. He loved all of his grandkids, but he and Iain always had a special bond. I think it is because Iain is the first boy born into the Shriver family in many moons.

I miss my Dad, but I'm thankful that he's with Jesus and he is perfect now--no longer trapped in a failing clay pot. The best part is that one day I'll see him again!
