Happy Sweetest Day!

Sweetest Day is the third Saturday in October, and in 1998 it was October 17th. Not only was that date the holiday called "Sweetest Day," it was also the date that my sweet husband proposed to me.

That Saturday was a beautiful, warm day when, fourteen years ago, we went to Cooper's Rock for a picnic, and Glen asked me to be his wife. We've been through a lot together since then, and I know that our marriage is strong because of all that we've weathered together.

I'm so thankful for my wonderful, handsome, hardworking, dedicated man. He has made my life richer in so many ways, and I'm excited to see what the future has in store for us!
