Today's prompt is: NEW
Here I go . . .
You may wonder what the word pause has to do with the prompt for today. But for me, it has everything to do with it.
The Bible tells us that Jesus is making all things new. That means He is still doing it, right now.
And I know He does make things new, because I've experienced His transforming power in my life in many ways:
I know He is still making things new. But I don't always look for the newness, because I tend to plow through everything - my food, tasks, days...my life.
Thus that word, pause, to help me to take a breath, to look for the newness in everything.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is making all things new. That means He is still doing it, right now.
And I know He does make things new, because I've experienced His transforming power in my life in many ways:
- He made my heart new after the brokenness of a failed relationship;
- He made my body new and proved wrong the doctors who said I would never have children;
- He made my marriage new and now we have something that I never would have dreamed possible.
I know He is still making things new. But I don't always look for the newness, because I tend to plow through everything - my food, tasks, days...my life.
Thus that word, pause, to help me to take a breath, to look for the newness in everything.
Hi, I found you on FMF.
ReplyDeleteI like how you use "pause" with this -- that is so true. It's so easy to become bogged down with routines and obligations and forget about how abundant God wants life to be as it is lived with Him.
I love this post! Thank you for sharing.
